Rovuno: The Software Behind a Smarter Fleet.

GDPR & data protection

Last updated: 23 October 2026

Rovuno is a trading name of Saffan Ltd (Company No. 04177936), Unit 1, Grange Farm, Clayhithe Road, Horningsea, Cambridge CB25 9JD. This page summarises how we handle personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full detail is in our Privacy policy.

Roles

  • Account & billing: we are the controller for your login, workshop name and subscription data.
  • Hire / customer records: your workshop is the controller for names, licences, photos and signatures you capture. Rovuno acts as your processor under your instructions.

Lawful bases we rely on

  • Contract - to provide the SaaS, billing and support you signed up for
  • Legitimate interests - security, fraud prevention and product reliability (balanced against your rights)
  • Legal obligation - where tax or accounting rules require retention of invoices
  • Consent - only where we ask for it (for example optional marketing, if offered)

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or to object to certain processing. Email info@rovuno.co.uk. Workshop owners can also delete the workshop from Billing, which removes fleet and hire data we hold for that org.

Processors

We use carefully chosen processors (for example Supabase for database/auth, Stripe for payments, Cloudflare R2 for private photos, and email delivery). They process data only to provide their service to us.

International transfers

Where a processor stores data outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) as described by that provider.

Complaints

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We would appreciate the chance to resolve issues first via info@rovuno.co.uk.
